On Wednesday, November 18, 2020 our DCFF meeting will be using the Zoom meeting platform. Greg will send out an e-mail blast prior to that meeting with the Meeting ID number and password. It is also on page two of the newsletter as well. Our speaker Gary Borger, will be presenting on “Fishing the Big Fish Flies.” The presentation topics he will be covering; 1) Big fish have specific needs that differ in lakes and streams, 2) Big fish fly design and presentations, 3) Best tactics to be used to catch big fish!
As we approach the end of 2020, I would like our members to consider
volunteering for open positions in Deep Creek Fly Fishers. I have enjoyed being the V.P. for one year and President the last two years. I want to thank everyone for their cooperation during this time period and volunteering in various capacities to help make Deep Creek Fly Fishers function as a club.
Presently, the following positions are vacant: 1st & 2nd V.P. positions, Membership Chair. If interested contact Clark Stevens prior to the November 18th meeting if possible. We will be voting on these positions for the New 2021 Year at the meeting this coming Wednesday night at 6:00 p.m.
I want to encourage everyone to pay their dues by the end of December, if possible, for 2021, in place of our Christmas fundraiser. Also, if anyone would like to make a special donation for 2020 it can be used as a tax write-off. (See Mike Stuhl for information)
