I arrived at the fly shop at 6:30  I found a coffee shop, I expected a few early birds. Not a person showed up until 8:00 a few guys stated to show up,  At 9 am we caravanned down to the Bay,  where all the boats slips are,,
I paid 4.00 in quarters, and got out gear in the water, not sure how many showed up, as many were already there,
It was a slow or no tide that day,  so there was no fish or it was slow for the day. The largest hook we used was a
number 1\0 but I was advised to use a number 6, as the bait was very small this year.

I did see some huge smelt jumping. They told me they only eat grass. I thought they looked like a trout at first, but like said I only seen them jumping. after I arrived back home I washed all my fly's and put them out to dry, Soaked the reel in warm water then I pulled off all the line down to the backing and wiped it clean, Soaked the waders in the bath tube,  then hang them up in the bathroom to drip dry, I still have to wash off my float tube. But I got everything else cleaned,
