For those that don't know marble canyon (lees ferry) is a 17 mile stretch
of the Colorado river below glen canyon dam. (lake Powell is formed above
the dam) Some great shots are available on their web site
I met my high school fishing friend from Michigan who fished with me in
the 50's on the Michigan AuSable river. We averaged 14 fish each per day
we fished at marble canyon. all on nymphs and all measured between 9 and
17&3/4 inches. colorful rainbows.
