Who is
Bob Slamal?
Bob
Slamal owns and operates Riverside Ski and Sport, a sports specialty
store in the Inland Empire, specializing in Fly Fishing, Skiing,
Snowboarding and Wakeboarding. Bob enjoys introducing local
fisherman to
Southern California lakes. He guides at
Lake
Skinner, Lake Silverwood and the new Diamond Valley Reservoir in
Hemet.
Bob has earned a reputation in the area as the expert on Fly Fishing
for Bass using "Bob's White Fly." Among his accomplishments are that
he was a member of the US Fly Fishing Team and a winner of the
Jackson Hole One Fly Contest. Bob has traveled the world fishing in
places like New Zealand, Europe, Norway, Mexico, Florida and all of
the Western United States.

About
BOB SLAMAL.
As a boy, Bob grew up fishing the cool recesses of Deep Creek and got to
know every riffle and pool of the stream.
Switching from bait fishing, he quickly learned to stalk wild rainbow trout
casting his fly line just so to lure the fish out of their protective
habitat.
Bob soon moved to Bear Creek and has fished it extensively and intensively
over the years.

He counts it as his favorite fresh water stream in Southern California.

In his youth, he acquired a taste for Montana and Wyoming on vacations with
his parents.

Bob has fished from Alaska to Baja, from Florida to Norway in rivers, lakes
and the ocean.

He has successfully competed in International tournaments and says with a
smile
